So I know about your bed bugs HAHA. anyways you need to get a spray bottle from the $ store and put water and your lavender oil in it they don't like the smell. Like maybe 20 drops for a bottle then spray the heck out of the mattress. and spray your body. It should help. Sorry you have to deal with this but what a memory. Be careful you make sure everything is washed and dryed before you move to your next place especailly you sheets and pillow. put your pillow in dryer for a long time.. They will travel with you. Another thing that will help is to leave your suit case in a hot car along with any clothes. The heat will kill them but it will take like all day but its got to get HOT. I love you. Keep your chin up. Use your oils :) MOM
Hello everybody. Elder Shumway here emailing you from Wilmington,
Delaware. This week was pretty uneventful. Elder Gibbons and I are
still trying to get to know the area. We sat down with our ward
missionary and went through the ward list and asked him if he knew
them,if they need a visit, moved, etc... And we were able to kind of
separate the wheat from the tares. Now we have a better understanding
who we need to focus our efforts on.
So last week I talked about a woman named Debbie. She was the one who
walked up to us and pretty much just asked to be baptized. She is a
what missionaries call a golden investigator. Unfortunately we found
out that she doesn't live in our area! It was super sad cause i really
wanted to teach her. But that's ok I'm sure she will progress in the
Gospel.
It sure is starting to warm up here. Spring is definitely on its way.
That's means there's probably gonna be more rain. At least it's not
snow. I would much rather have rain than snow.
That's about it for this week. Sorry this is kind of a short letter.
Not much happened this week
Love Elder Shumway
Hey Carson. Volleyball is already starting? That's awesome. Hopefully
you guys can do well this year. Are you on varsity? Nice job on
beating everybody in the scrimmage. What? No more coach Jackson for tennis?
That's sad. Wow they're actually doing conditioning stuff that's
crazy! Thanks for the email.
Love Elder Shumway
Hey Lila. Not much happened this week for me either. I was kind of
injured for about two days and didn't do anything. The work here is
slowly getting better. Lucky you got to go out to lunch with mom!
What? Who told you about those bed bugs? Unfortunately we have not gotten rid
of them yet. We have the kind that we can't see so that's a huge
bummer. Elder Gibbons is still super awesome. Teaching is going very
slow not much to report on there.
Love you too. Elder Shumway
Mom.
How old are the girls you are teaching in primary? Enos is a great
story from the Book of Mormon. We should definitely pray for the
people who are not nice to us. There have definitely been some people
who have not been nice to me out here.
My week was ok. I was kind of out of commission for two days. Tuesady
morning I woke up and had this horrible pain in my neck and it hurt so
much for me to just slightly move. I couldn't event get out of bed it
hurt so much. And I was pretty much the same Wednesday. That was no
fun. It is hard being doubled in. It does make the work go slower too.
The awkward feeling is slowly going away. I wish members wouldn't be
so afraid of us or awkward around us. Good no one has been sick to
much at home. Those two days were the key two days that I didn't do
any missionary work. I felt super in affective. Hopefully the flu will
go away soon.
Our area is slowly getting better. Haha Debbie, well we had a lesson
with her Tuesday and since I was out of commission the Spanish
elders went on exchanges with us so we could make that appointment. As
they went over there they realized that she's not even in our area.
She's in he sisters area. She's a super golden investigator and we
can't even have her! We had to give her up to the sisters. I don't
know how she knows about it. She does still want to be baptized. She
has a date set for the 26 of March, I believe.
It's not three weeks it's only one week. The MTC is extending the stay
of English speaking missionaries to three weeks. It used to be two. So
they are adding only one week to the regular missionaries. Sorry if I
confused you on that.
I'm happy I survived it winter too. It wasn't actually that bad. Now spring
is pretty much at the door now. It should be warming up soon. I
love how it rains so much. But I don't like the snow. Hopefully it
won't snow. I'm super excited for the heat. Also there are a lot more
people out when it's hot so we can talk to more people.
I hope Andrew doing ok. He's always smiling in his pictures. I'll email
him today and see how he's doing. I'll give him some encouragement and
tell him I love him.
Haha I figured you had forgotten about finding names on family search
. Speaking of family search, I sent
you a few names that need ordinances done for. Did you get those? The
DC temple is also closed for a little bit.
Dad does need a new car. An Altima would be a really nice car I think.
Dad says you guys haven't made a decision yet.
Nice you're the team photographer! How much do you get paid? I'm sure
Carson will do awesome at volleyball. He's already super good. Wow
trek! I loved trek! You will love trek too. Have you ever gone on one?
1: Haha. I don't know, cats are just everywhere around here and some are
really friendly.
2: Elder Gibbons is awesome! We do get along.
3: We've had a lot of dinner in the ward actually. Maybe too many. Some people in this ward
remember another Elder Shumway who served here a few years ago.
I do need something. So remember how we never got anything that said
we needed to pay for my iPad? Well I got an email that says I need to
pay it. It's also on my missionary portal website. I don't know how
I'm gonna pay it. Could you help me out? If you can here's how you do
it. Go to missionary.lds.org. Username: shumwayb. Password: bradends.
Then it will pull it up when you get on there.
Love you too. Elder Shumway
All is going pretty well. Lucky you got to play softball! Congrats on
the win and the trophy you get. Did you hit any homers? Altimas are
pretty nice cars. What years are they and how many miles? Do you have
one you're kind of leaning towards to get? Wow trek! Carson will love
trek. Mom told me that you're going up there one night to help with
some activities, that should be a lot of fun. I figured Taryn has started his mission papers.
He's a lot less visible? Like he's not trying to get a lot of
attention? He has been known for doing that in the past. I'll have to
see how he's doing. Another new class. Which one? Poor chair. Are you
gonna get a whole set or just a few? Sorry you hurt yourself. Was
anybody around to watch and laugh at you? Just like the time on Provo
river where you did a similar thing? You can tell them I'm doing just
fine. Still working hard. The apartment isn't too comfortable. We
still have bed bugs, but they are the kind that you can't see I guess.
We are trying to stay busy.
Love you. Elder Shumway

Mom,
This week has been pretty long for me too. I am in Wilmington,
Delaware. I am doing good. My companion is great. Well we have been
what some people say "white washed". We call it being doubled in. It's
strange to be doubled in because we are both new to the area. First few
days were slow cause neither of us
know anybody here. We didn't even have our area book until the day
after transfers. It's super awkward with the ward too cause we don't
know anybody and they aren't like the members in Reading.
I am sad I left Reading too. I wish I could stay there for longer. Dad
is right that I am in Wilmington. Don't know if you know but I've
heard that Wilmington in the heroin capital of the nation. Just
thought I'd say that. Sister Wojcicki was awesome and so were so many
people here. I'm glad she wants to be in the loop.
It has been awesome here. The weather has been very mild. I'm fine with
rain, I love the rain. Nice! The radio (rodeo) is sweet! Have fun going to
that gymnastics meet. Tell aunt Monte I say hi.
I would love to go to Philly too. I hope my work with indexing will pay off by
going there. I guess we will see in a couple of months. Did you know
that I am going to extend my mission? And so is everybody else? At
least everybody who is speaking English will. That's because the MTC
is extended to three weeks now.
This winter has gone by super fast. To me it wasn't really even that
cold. But I'm looking forward to the heat. Haha yeah make sure daisy
gets a hair cut and for the right price of course.
What? Adrew broke his arm? Why would he do a thing like that? That does
not sound like fun. Is it a bad break? Will he have to come home?
Wait I thought I showed you how to find a name on family search? The
DC temple is closed too. This transfer might be the time that I can
go. It's within the time limit here and there are a lot of people here
that need to go.
I will send pictures later today maybe in my weekly email.
1: I don't know of an easier way to get you picture. Are they not easy?
2: Haven't met anybody yet that I think would be your friend.
3: I do not know who is Selby compainion. He is training someone.

Hey Lila. That's okay that you didn't write, just don't do it AGAIN!!! man school sounds like fun for you right now. Good luck with all those assignments. You had to eat a cricket. That's gross! And you had to put worms in your mouth too!! That's gross too!!! Why would you do that. Was the free soda worth it? My new area is different. My companion is Elder Gibbons. We are teaching a few people. Ill probably go more into that on my weekly email. My new ward is new and different. We got doubled in so neither of us know anybody in the ward really so it's super awkward. Love you too. :)

Hi. All things are going well here. I am in Wilmington, my companions name is Elder Gibbons, like the monkey. The ward here is a lot different from Reading. It's super weird because I doubled into this area and we both have no idea who anybody is. We have been walking by a lot of faith this past few days. Nice job on being able to do whatever the primary president needs you to do. I can imagine that trying to get used to sharing time can be interesting. I remember going into sharing time a few times back when we had to be with those kids for a Sunday and I thought it was a lot of fun. I felt like I was in primary again. I truly was a sun BEAM!! Hopefully the dbacks can do something this year. Did they decide on who's the new coach for the Suns? Thanks for thinking about me. I think about you too. Love you too.
Hey Lila. That's okay that you didn't write, just don't do it AGAIN!!! man school sounds like fun for you right now. Good luck with all those assignments. You had to eat a cricket. That's gross! Hello y'all. So I got transferred. I also got what some people call
white washed into an area. We call it being doubled in. What this is
is when both missionaries get transferred out and two brand new ones
come in and those new ones are us. My new companion is Elder Gibbons,
like the monkey. He is from Niagra falls, Canada aye. Unfortunately he
doesn't say aye a lot.
So the subject this week is heroin capital of the nation. The reason
for that is because what I've heard is that Wilmington, Delaware is
the heroin capital of the nation. So there are a lot of people here
that need Jesus. And I want to help them find him and his restored
gospel.
It was hard to say goodbye to Reading. I really love the ward and all
the people that I've come in contact with. I will miss them dearly.
But I know that the Lord needs me in Wilmington right now and that
there are people here who need to hear my testimony of the restored
gospel.
So cool story. The other night Elder Gibbons and I called some members
and asked if we could stop by and introduce ourselves to them since we
are both new. They said that they were in the emergency room, but we
could still come and see them. So we go and we say hi and while we are
talking with them a woman comes up to us and asks," how hard is it to
become a Mormon?" We respond and tell her it's not hard at all. She
said she's always wanted to be one but never had the opportunity. So
we exchanged information and said that we would call her. Couple days
roll around and she calls us and asks why haven't we called her? We
said that we were going to call her later that night. She told us that
she really wants to come to church and to join. So we set up an
appointment on Tuesday. I'm pretty confident she'll get baptized. Her
name is Debbie.
Super excited to be here in Wilmington. I've met some super awesome
people. I know that this is where I need to be. Love you all and stay
safe.

Good afternoon everybody. Hopefully everybody is staying warm. I
definitely trying to stay warm. It has been super cold this past week.
With the windchill it gotten down to negative 10 or so. Right now it
is snowing. Even though it's super pretty and fun, it's super cold and
windy. But it's supposed to warm back up these next couple of weeks.
I found out Saturday that I'm gonna be transferred. That is super
sad. I don't want to be transferred. This area is awesome and so is
the ward. Hopefully my next area will be just as great as this one.
This week we have been pretty busy. A couple times this week we helped
clean out a house. This house is for another companionship of elders.
There are gonna be two more Spanish elders in our zone in Reading. We
could us it cause there are so many people here that only speak
Spanish. I wish I payed attention more in Spanish class.
So kind of funny story, well at least for me it is. We got a referral
the other day for a guy named Chris. So we call him and ask if we
could come over, he said that's fine. So we start heading over there
and then realize that he isn't in our area. So we called the zone
leaders to see if it was ok to go over and see him. They said that
would be ok. So we go and introduce ourselves. We start talking to him
and say who we are and he says he already know that we are
missionaries. Then he says that the sisters in that area have already
been talking with him. Then he tells us that he is already a member!
Then something really weird happened, Chris starts to call somebody.
They answer and he talks to them for a little bit then he hands the
phone to me. I answer and then I'm speaking with missionaries in
Virginia! They said that they sent that refers and wanted to make sure
that we found Chris. I told him that we found him and that he's gonna
be ok. I probably broke some sort of rule. So we call the zone leaders
and tell them what happened after we left Chris' house. They said that
it was ok, I didn't know who I was going to talk to on the phone.
Another kind of funny story. So we got a referral from the zone
leaders. They referred a guy named Jayson to us. They told us that
he's super solid and wants to learn about the gospel. The only thing
is that he is deaf. So last night we went and tried to go find him. We
go there and we are invited in. We found Jason, but something was
different, we realized that he could hear just fine! We asked him if
you were the Jayson that was deaf, he told us no that's someone else.
So instead of leaving and saying we will come back later we taught
home the restoration. He told us that a lot of hard things have been
happening in his life. We promised him that the message we share will
help him. We invited him to read the Book of Mormon and also invited
him that when he knows that it is true to be baptized by someone
holding the proper priesthood authority. He accepted! Maybe we were
just meant to find this Jayson. Unfortunately I won't be able to see
him progress. But that ok they Lord needs me somewhere else in the
mission.
I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored through a
prophet of God. That prophet is Joseph Smith. I know that the Book of
Mormon is true and is the word of God. And I am so grateful I get to
share this with these people here in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia
mission!!

Yeah all is well here. I am getting ready for a transfer. I assumed that it would make her day. Hah yep we wore those ties, they are both good looking ties. We appreciate all the awesome stuff. Haha yeah she told me she is worried about the cold. But I'm just fine, I'm handling it really well. I caught a glimpse of the game. I guess Kobe made it this year. I'm not surprised that Westbrook got the MVP. Hopefully the dbacks do well with that really new and expensive pitcher they just got from the Dodgers. That's awesome that you get to teach Sam's class. Who's all in his class? Wow that is super hot. It's trade that weather for this weather anytime though. Wow message package sounds nice. Our people have been doing rather well. Danielle came to church yesterday. Nancy and Jason didn't cause they are having problems with a grandchild about to be born and there are complications. Kory is in North Carolina to go to a baptism. I'm super bummed that I'm leaving. I love this ward and this area. We were talking with Dontá last night and he was saying how much he loves me and is grateful for me and he's sad that I'm leaving. It was kind of a tear jerker for him to say that to me. I love him too and will miss him a lot. But I really want to come back when I come home and visit him. He said that he is the one person that I can trust and he said he will never leave the church because of me. It was crazy. I'll keep up the good work. I'll try and send some more pictures.

Mom
Haha yeah that was awesome that I got to meet the Bunkers. I guess they know
a family in this ward. Their names are the Robinson and they're son
a family in this ward. Their names are the Robinson and they're son
Josh just came home from his mission and had his homecoming. You
should friend sister Robinson too, you two would get along really well
I'd think. And I'm not a Popsicle. It has been pretty cold, but I try
and stay warm as best as I can. That's crazy that the picture they sent went to Rome then to AZ almost all
the way around the world. I'm sure those other missionaries and they're
families loved that you sent a picture for them.
Yep it is pretty cold. I check the weather every now and then too.
Right now it is snowing. Hopefully it won't be to much. Well there's
not much to tell about it, it's just super windy and cold and it's not
fun. Seems like everybody else is warm except for me. People just have
on hoodies and I have to get my huge coat on and I'm still cold. But I
will be fine, winter is almost over. And then we get into the summer
months. We'll see who out here can take the heat.
Yeah I'm being transferred. I'm super sad, I really wanted to stay.
Tomorrow we are going to go to broomall and meet my new companion and
go to my new area. If I go to Philly I'll have to take the bus and it
will be a walking area, if I go somewhere else it will most likely be
by car.
I did get my minion package. I thought that was super clever. I love
how you use some sort of theme with the packages. It just awesome. Yep
we have our new ties too. I now have so many ties. I probably have
around 25! I don't think I got anything from Grandpa or Jill. If they
haven't sent it yet, tell them to hold up and wait till I get my new
address. I will let you know if I need anything.
Nancy and Jason are scheduled to be baptized on March 20th. Yeah I
will miss the baptism too. That's another reason why I'm sad. If I
would of stayed for one more transfer we would probably had around 4
or 5 baptisms! Yeah it is a little easier to see people when it's cold
outside and there's snow on the ground. We are pretty confident that a
lot of people are home.
Must be nice to have a day off. Cleaning sounds like fun. Lucky! You
went to the Temple! Good job on going. That's crazy that bro Beaudette
found that out that his dad was not sealed to his parents and he now has gotten that sealing done. That's
awesome. That's great that Lila is working on her personal progress.
I'm sure she will get it.
Wow! 50 years anniversary for Grandma and Grandpa! That picture looks really good too.
1: My clothes are holding up just fine. I want my shoes to eventually
look super beaten up so it looks like I've worked hard in them.
2: My feet stay warm for the most part. Sometimes that get super cold
though and that's not fun.
3: Well I don't get to eat at the Smiths
anymore unfortunately. That are super nice to us and
they took us out for lunch today which was awesome.
Hey I love you too. I'm sure everything will be fine. I heard about
that tragedy too. Super sad.

Hey Sam. I heard that you got a piece of metal in your foot. That must
have hurt! Sorry you can't walk on it, hope it gets better soon. It is
pretty cold here. I'll see what I can do about those videos. Have a
great week.
Hey Lila. I did have a good week. Wow yoga, that would be super hard
for me too. Good job on getting all A's! It gets you awesome stuff
like free yogurt. You didn't watch the super bowl! Do you even know
who won? That's ok if you didn't watch it, I didn't either 🙁. This
week I did a lot of missionary work. I also went on exchange with the
District leader Elder Hansen and he was just recently the assistant to
the president. He is an awesome guy. His area is Pottstown. I know
weird name, but that's actually what it's called. There's also a place
called Pottsville. There are weird town names over here.

Good morning. Haha so the might panthers didn't win. I'm kind of glad. It's good to see an old man get another one. I guess we will see if he's retiring or not. Yeah I heard about Sam's experience. Was it a fishing hook or just a small piece of metal? Wow ALA sure beat them, good job for Derrik. I guess he's a senior now. Is he going to go on a mission you think? I'm sure he could still go even with his diabetes. Yum venezias. For pizza places here we really have little Caesars. And that's pretty much all we can afford. Tell Bri Carpenter that I say hi and that I'm doing well. He is a good man too. Sorry you were released, I know you really liked your calling. I'm sure you'll do great in primary. Yeah sorry I haven't been taking pictures. Recently they are really trying to push not taking pictures on our IPads for some reason, just our cameras and if I send them to you I have to be at a computer and that isn't too often. Carson will do great at volleyball. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the varsity team. Sorry about the basketball team. Hopefully Garrett can focus on other things more. High school sports are fun but there are more important things to worry about. Thanks for everything.

This week was pretty great. There's still snow on the ground and I
hear there's supposed to be more coming. It's also supposed to get
super cold next week as well. Next Sunday it's supposed to not get
above 22 degrees. I'm not looking forward to that. I think I'll be
fine though.
Jason came to church on Sunday. That was awesome. He loved it. Nancy
couldn't come cause she sprained her ankle the other day and can't
walk well at all. It's pretty swollen and black and blue. He said to
us during church that the best thing that ever happened to him is that
we introduced him to the church. That made me fell awesome. It's
amazing how strong the spirit is in church. Both of them have
baptismal dates. They are scheduled to be baptized on March 20th.
I will probably be transferred this next week. I really don't want to
but I feel like I've been here long enough. Dontá also finally came
back from Philly. I was so happy when he came back. We also contacted
a referral, she wanted a bible. So we come and a man opens the door
and on his shirt he has a scripture on it. So we know we are in the
right place. When we came in the couple kind of split us up. So I was
with the woman who wanted the bible and Elder Selby talked with the
man. The woman was very nice but when I brought up Joseph Smith she
kind of had a different attitude after that. We asked if we could come
back and they said that's fine, but they wanted to tell us that they
won't convert. So that was a cool experience.
The church is true. Sorry this is kind of a shorter one.

Elder Shumway
Mom,
Thanks for fasting for me. Fasting definitely works, I've seen it out
here. Yeah the snow is almost gone. Hopefully there won't be anymore
of it. Yeah the tall one is Elder Andrus, he is awesome. He does play ball. He
played basketball for BYU before he came on his mission. They usually
don't come to play ball cause they are pretty far away from the
church. The weathers fine. Little colder than I would like. I'm
getting used to it. I'm not freezing.
Yeah last week was awesome. It was a pretty good week. We were pretty
sad though that we've had to drop a lot of our investigators. It is
hard to understand why people don't accept the plan of salvation. I ask that question all
the time. Nancy and Jason are doing really well. They have a baptismal
date and Jason came to church on Sunday and he loved it. I'm so pumped
for him. It was testimony meeting and a lot of people were talking
about trials and hard times in their lives and he totally related. He
was surprised that so many people have hard times too. There were
times when we thought he was going to cry. He also told us later that
us running into him was the greatest thing that's happened in his
entire life! As for Larry we haven't seen him for a while.
Grandma sent me an email describing that ceremony it sounded really
great. It's great that they love their new car.
I really hope I can go to the temple, but I'll most likely be transferred. Yeah
we would probably go to DC. I am kind of excited to go to a new area.
I would also love to go to Philly when the temple will be dedicated,
that would be my dream.
Thank You for that package. I love getting them. I actually have lost
some weight because of it. I think I'm pretty good with whatever. I
will appreciate all of it for sure.
Somebody actually did tape it sing in church last week, but I don't have it yet. I'll see if I
can get it by next week.
I'm sure that grass at Grandpa Shumways will start growing soon enough, it always has. Wow
Grandpa Dayley is old. 72!! Yum venezias pizza, that place was really good I thought.
Haha that's a funny story about Sam getting metal in his foot. Hopefully he will be able to walk on it
soon. Now Sam will have a story to tell. Will there be a scar? Oh and
how is Carson's eye doing?
Yeah Google was being a little weird last week. Good thing it's fixed
now. Unfortunately we aren't allowed to use iCloud photo sharing. It
would probably work easier to send videos and pictures because it's
Apple.
Love you too

Feb 1
This week the snow has melted quite a bit. It's still everywhere
though. I hope everybody heard that the Philly temple dates are out. I
was so excited when I found out. It's amazing to think that by the
time the temple is dedicated I will have been out for over a year. The
temple will be such a blessing to this area. Hopefully I'll be serving
in Philly when it's dedicated, I think that would be sweet.
This week has been good and bad. On Wednesday I got to go on exchange
with Elder Andrus. He is the companion of the district leader. Elder
Andrus kind of sticks out like a sore thumb because he is six feet
eight inches tall. He is super tall, he towers over everybody. He is
super chill and such a hard working missionary. While we were on
exchange we were walking around talking to a lot of people and we come
across this porch and the roof of this porch has fallen down because
of all the snow on it. We found this couple who's names are Jason and
Nancy. They are awesome and said that they had been thinking about
coming to church. They told us that not even a minute before they were
talking about it and then we find them. Coincidence? I don't think so.
They have had a really hard life and we want to try and make it better
by sharing the gospel to them.
We also found another man this week who's name is Larry. He is a
little slower than most people because he explained to us that in the
past he's had a lot of seizures. So he is a little slow at talking and
doesn't really understand a lot so we have been taking it pretty slow
with him. But he has a good heart and wants to follow God.
The Gonzales family who I said were super solid and want to get
baptized told us that they don't agree with the plan of salvation and
said they are going back to the Pentecostal church and don't want us
to come over again. That was super frustrating and confusing cause in
the previous lesson I sure felt the spirit and if I feel the spirit it
has to be ten times more powerful to them cause they aren't usually
feeling the spirit. But what do we do? We had to respect their agency.
But we were talking afterwards and thought that the reason for
teaching them was to find Angela who is more prepared. We haven't seen
her yet since last Sunday. She works a lot, hopefully we can get in
touch with her.
On Sunday we were planning on having about seven investigators come to
church and we were really excited about that. We even got rides for
them, unfortunately most of them got really sick, Jason and Nancy
daughter is going to have a baby that day and it was a pretty big
emergency cause the baby had its umbilical wrapped around it neck a
few times. I'd like to ask if you would pray for them, from what I've
told you about them I haven't even given you a little bit of what they
are going through. They have a really hard life.
One good thing that happened was that we taught the most lessons that
we've ever taught in any week that Elder Selby and I have been
together. I'm trying to make this the best time Reading cause I've got
a bad feeling that I'm going to be transferred soon. I don't want to
be though, I want to say. But I will go where the Lord wants me to go.
Oh and I also spoke in church on Sunday. So did Elder Selby and our
ward Mission leader Brother Bruchez. We also sang as a trio, we sang
the hymn because I have been given much and we all spoke on missionary
work. That was kind of an easy topic. I think we did pretty good cause
we got a lot of compliments from it.
Anyways hope everybody is safe and having fun. The church is true,
Jesus Christ lives, and the temple is coming!!!
Love Elder Shumway
Yeah I did that fast. We now have wifi in our house, that's why I sent
it super fast. Ah man, I kind of liked him. Dan tony might work. They
do need better players though. Is there anymore Morris brothers drama
going on? Yeah that's pretty bad losing to the sixers. That linger
longer is a really good idea I think. I guess your still at 2:00
church still. Elder Selby and I are going on a diet starting today so
I can lose some weight. Wow Emily Sorrell is going on a mission?
That's awesome. That's the mission where all the sisters in my
district went. Yep very big football game next week. I wish the
cardinals were in it though. I hope the Broncos win too. I'd like to
see Peyton retire after this season too. Glad to hear work is going
good. People are still not keeping commitments for the most part. But
we do have a few good things that have happened. Satan is really
working hard out here, but we are going to work even harder.
Love Elder Shumway
Hey Carson. Sorry not much happened this week. Good job focusing on
grades, those are pretty important. Keep working on that math grade.
I'm pretty confident you'll get on varsity too. Just do the best you
can. I don't know if trace is going to make it. Let me know how that
goes. I am having a great time, hope your having a great time too. I
like writing my email.
Love Elder Shumway
Wow that sounds like a lot of fun. I remember going to one of those.
Was it really loud? What are you going to do your science report on?
Sorry it's really annoying and confusing. It was for me too. Have a
great week.
From Elder Shumway
Hey Lila. It did not snow this week. But we are supposed to get more
snow around Valentine's Day. Sorry you got sick, I don't like being
sick. I remember making those sugar cube temples. It was a lot of fun.
That's to bad you didn't get to mow grandpas yard. At Least you got
some oranges and lemons. That linger longer thing sounds like a lot of
fun. This Friday there is a social for the ward, but we aren't allowed
to go because it's also a dance. So that stinks. Hope you have a great
week too. Have fun doing homework.
