Hi Lila. My week was pretty good. It rained a lot and our roof leaks so that was pretty cool. What have you been doing all week? What songs did you do to your music videos? Sorry to hear you got swimmers ear. I remember  getting that a lot when I was your age. I hope you can heal quickly from it. What movie did you see? That's great you have a job of looking afterthe Beudettes  dogs. That's a funny story about the dogs. Sorry you had to get all wet in the rain. Hope to hear from you again.

Hello everybody and happy August. I'm sure the weather in Arizona is going to get pretty hot soon. Hope everybody can stay cool the best they can. Here it is getting pretty hot. The humidity is increasing a lot. This week we had a lot of service so we were able to be out in that heat more often. We helped a family move to Reading. That is an interesting story of how that happened. I don't know if I mentioned before, but we are lucky enough to have a senior couple here in Pottsville. And they had an assignment from the branch president to find this family. Their records had recently come into the branch. So the Blacks who are the senior couple go looking for them earlier in the week. They find the family and when the mother saw them she burst into tears. She explained to them that they are moving soon and didn't have any help and she had been praying that someone could come help her. And so the Blacks them mention, oh we have these two, handsome, charismatic, strong missionaries in the branch here. Would you mind letting them come and help. She said yes and so we helped them move on Friday to their new home in Reading. We loaded the truck and they drive down and the other elders in reading helped them move in. So that was pretty great.

The other awesome thing that happened is that Mason had his baptismal interview last night and he passed! I am really excited. He is still on track to be baptized this Saturday. He seems to be pretty determined to be baptized. Please pray for him so that he can be baptized. I will send pictures next week of the baptism.

Hello. Yeah you did write pretty late in the evening. I was a little
worried because usually I get your email during third hour in church
and it never came. But then it showed up this morning. I remember that
marshmallow expericment with 4 year olds. There's a video that is super awesome. I watch it
sometimes. Hopefully Carson can apply what he learns in class.

The baptistery is actually on the first floor. And the parking garage
is in the basement. What are you trying to ask about Lori and Jon?
Yeah Elder and Sister Black are really nice to us. Except in apartment inspections. They
used to own a cleaning company so they are super tough. We just had
our inspection and I thought it was spotless, but Elder Black gave us
a B!

That does not sound good for Chance. Hopefully he can get his foot fixed
as soon as possible. I hope he does email me, I'd love to see how he's
doing. If you can maybe ask Nick if he can email me too. I'd love to
talk to him as well. I hope he is doing good.

Glad to hear the woods came to church. I'm sure it's great to see
them. Did Bishop Woods say anything about the temple? I'm sure their
kids are getting older. That's how it works I guess. We all have to
grow up.

Noah and his Mom are doing awesome. Noah is still going to be baptized
on Saturday and he's still really excited. Also Mason is still on
track for Saturday as well. I will take lots of pictures and send some
to you.

I did not get the package yet. I will most likely get it his Thursday
though. Will I be expecting a package from the relief society soon?
For transfers next week it's most likely that Elder Lake will leave. I
think he should too cause he is getting kind of area trunky.

Sorry to hear about Lila. Those swimmers ears are killer. I hope she
will feel better soon.

Jon is the fiancé of Lori. She is  a member who recently moved from California to here to marry him. Jon isn't a member. I would love people's emails. That would be great. I'll probably be getting the packages this Thursday. If not then I will definitely get them at transfers. For that package I would love a new tie or two. A new pair of slacks. Money. Letters. I'd rather not have any candy cause I need to not be eating a lot of it. I think that's it. Also now like pens, or sticky notes, or basically office stuff because I have plenty and also no bathroom stuff, have plenty of that too.

Hello. Everything is going well over here. Sorry to hear that the

Dbacks are still struggling. Glad to hear that the Cardinals are

undefeated. Hopefully they can continue throughout the season. Thanks

for telling bro Johnson that. Mason is still on track for the 6th. I'm

pretty confident that he will be baptized. He seemed very determined

this past week. Yesterday Noah had his baptismal interview and

everything went great. The rest of our investigators are doing ok. We

are really mainly focusing on Mason this week cause he is our highest

priority. Am I writing in my journal? Well a little bit. I don't like

writing in my journal. I'm actually starting to do video logs instead.

I think they are more fun and I don't have to write, I can just talk.

Have fun working on the temple names and have fun breaking in those

new basketball shoes.

Hi grandma. Sounds like you had a fun time with the grandkids on 
Wednesday. I'm sure you all had a good time. 
  
The Book of Mormon is amazing. I love how it testifies of Christ and 
how it is evidence of the restoration of the Gospel. And how Joseph 
Smith was a prophet and how there is a prophet on earth today. And I 
love that conference address by Elder Holland. Sure gives me the 
chills when I watch it. And I'm sure those men who died for the Book 
of Mormon did it cause they knew that it was true and so do I. I know 
it is true and need to continue to relate the teachings in it to my 
and the missionary work that I am engaged in. 
  
What are you quilting in your class? Well it doesn't matter if it's 
boring or not. I still like to know what is going on in your life. I 
would rather you email me boring stuff than not email me at all. But 
your letters are not boring grandma. I love getting an email from you 
every week and reading it. Let's me know that you still remember me. 
I'm glad that you enjoy it too. 
  
Sounds like you got a few more students to deal with. I'm sure their 
parents are grateful that you will be teaching their kids piano. 
Sounds like you are going to be pretty busy in the future. Let me know 
how it all goes.
