Hello everybody. Sorry I've been slacking with weekly emails these
past couple of weeks. So to catch you up I've been transferred. I was
in Wilmington, DE and now I am in Pottsville, PA. I actually have been
in this area before. When I was in reading I went in exchange here
before. Pottsville is a mining town and also many other towns in this
area. We actually went on a mine tour today which was pretty fun.

Last Saturday we were able to have a baptism. I was super lucky I
guess to be transferred into a baptism. The person who was being
baptized is probably the most prepared person I've ever met. Her name
is Nicki and she is awesome. She has a 7 year old son named Noah. She
was found by my companion Elder Lake and four weeks later she was
baptized. In was pretty incredible. I will send a picture.

My companions name is Elder Lake. He is awesome. He has been out for
about 18 months. He also is from Gilbert, AZ. He went to Campo Verde
high school. People always ask us if we knew each other and
unfortunately we did not. Anyways that pretty much it. Hope you all

I am in Pottsville, PA. I really like it. Yeah it's hard not being
able to tell you where I am for a while. My companion is elder Lake.
He has been out for 18 months. Sorry I had a pretty busy Monday last
week. Wasn't able to get an email out to everyone. Today is a little more relaxed
so I will most likely get one out today.

Yeah that picture was my last night in Wilmington. We were at the Jordan's
house. President Jordan is the stake president. He's an awesome guy.
He actually brought it up to do that.

I do not know who Elder McArther is. I actually have not heard his name a lot. I
probably haven't met him. People can sometimes be aggressive drivers.
But those are everywhere. I've heard of Elder Morgan. He trained an
Elder Steil who I've spent some time with out here. Yeah the Spanish
elders live right in reading. Wilmington is the hood. It's bitter
sweet for me to leave Wilmington. I didn't want to leave the area or the ward. I
did want to get a new companion though. I have not met the new mission
president yet. We are having a zone conference on Wednesday and we
will all then meet him.

Sounds like you've got some great new home teachers. Grandma told me
that they spoke in church. I'm sure they did a great job. And it's
been a while since they've spoken. Wow Brandon Gale is already home! That's
crazy! Thanks for the picture of Ben, Brandon, and Teryn. Sounds like
you had a church filled Sunday. I'm sure the derricks are anxious for
Porter to come home. I'm sure he's having a hard time leaving. He seems
like he does love his mission a lot.

You can probably just send the package to the mission office. I do need two
garment tops. Over my mission I've lost some garment tops. So I would
like two of them. That's pretty much it.

1: I'm actually in a branch. The members are great. There's a lot less
black people. And I mean a lot less, than in Wilmington.
2: Investigators are great. We actually had a baptism on Saturday
which was sweet. I will send a picture.
3: My apartment is pretty nice. They just moved into it a couple of
weeks ago. We live above a sandwich shop which a member owns. And we
get free food every now and then.

Are you going to activate that new card? My money situation is fine.

Hello. Sorry I didn't respond to anything last week. Had some
technical difficulties. Sounds like Derrik did a great job at his farewell. Sounds
like you had a great Father's Day too. I'm sure those ribs were very
good. I heard that the cavs won. There's an elder who is a huge
warriors fan and he's pretty mad. Yeah grandpa Shumway sure was great. Thanks
for being a great father yourself. Out here I've seen a lot of
examples of bad fathers and I'm glad I don't have one. That's great
Carson got a job at DQ. Maybe some free ice cream in the future? The
tracker is not that bad. He should just be happy with what he has. I
drove it and look how good I turned out. Sounds like everybody is

Hi Lila. Sorry I didn't send one last week. Yeah I had some technical difficulties last week. Well I found out I'm getting transferred to a new area tomorrow. Thanks for getting dad some great gifts. I'm sure he enjoyed Father's Day. Love you Lila.

Good morning. Yes I am being transferred. I had some technical difficulties last week. That's why I wasn't able to email. Now there fixed and everything should work properly. I wasn't able to email anything last week other than that one note to Lila. 

Things are good. We've been okay. Still have had some really dumb arguments about things which shouldn't even be argued about, but he still wants to argue about. Anyways I'm moving on this transfer. Hopefully next transfer will be better. We haven't seen Sabir for a while cause he's had some health issues and every time we call him he says he'd rather not have us over right now. But I don't have to worry about him anymore now that I'm being transferred. 

Derrik's farewell already happened? That's crazy. He needs to get away probably from all the stress that's is back home. I hope dad had a great Father's Day. I sent a card in the mail a couple of days ago wishing him a happy Father's Day. Hopefully it's gotten there by now. If not it should be there soon. 

Wow that's a crazy story about Cherai cutting her finger. Your so nice to her for staying with her all that time. I hope and pray that she will have no more problems in her life. She's had so many already. I'm sure she's very thankful to you too for being such a great friend.

Hi Lila. We went to a part members families home and had dinner and had a fire. Didn't see any fireworks unfortunately. Because it pretty much rained the entire night. Sounds like you've been having a lot of fun this week. Mom sent me the video of you getting the dog food jelly bean. Didn't look like you enjoyed it very much. So are those animals wolves or dogs? That would be pretty huge. I saw a picture of you jumping off the higher one. I'm sure it was a lot of fun though. My week probably wasn't a fun as yours. Well there is one cool part. Remember the woman we baptized who name is Nicki. Well she has a son named Noah and he turned 8 last Saturday and he wants to get baptized and he wants me to do it. So that was pretty sweet.

Hi Lila. My week is going well. I heard that the house is being repainted. I'm sure you did a great job. Send pictures of the paint I want to see it. What kind of dance was it? I can't watch the video because I have a lot of restrictions on my iPad. If you send me the actual video I can watch it. But a link to a website I won't be able to watch it. Hello friends and family. Sorry I didn't write a weekly email last
week. Got pretty busy. I'm doing well. Living it out here in the
mission. Hope everybody is doing well in the 100 plus heat. We had a
gnarly storm last night. It knocked over a tree that was down the
street from our apartment. Will send a picture.

The best thing that happened that happened this week was that we set
one of our investigators with a baptismal date. We set it for July
3rd. Please pray for him. His name is Sabir, he's an older black guy.
He ordered a Book of Mormon. When people order one of those that means
they are interested in learning more about the church. He is looking
for religion and he is looking for the truth. He is very prepared. It
was also his birthday a couple of days ago and we were able to get him
ice cream sandwiches and donuts to celebrate. He said that made his
day.

Well that's all I have time for today. Love you all. The church is
true and important and more people need to join it.

Hello. Things in Wilmington are okay. I've seen that it's in the 100s
now back home. Here it's pretty hot, but humid. It's been raining a
lot. That's great that you had a good time at trek. Trek is the
greatest. I'm really excited for Tate to leave in his mission. He will
do great. Yeah I did have some MTC missionaries go to billings. I've
already told them that Tate coming . Thanks for the sports updates.
That's crazy that the warriors are up 2-0 on the cavs. I hope the
Warriors win. There's a lot of Cavs fans out here for some reason.
Yeah I hope the Eagles will do better too. Well no we did not. People
still flaked out on us for church. I'm kind of getting used to it. I
pretty much expect people now not to keep their commitments. Teaching
pool is doing well. We are finding more investigators. As far as
reactivation. Like I said earlier no one comes to church when we
invites them and they commit to come. But I'm not going to give up.

Hi Lila. We are doing alright. We are teaching a man and his name is Sabir. We set him with a baptismal date on July 3rd. Lucky you went swimming? Sounds like a fun party. Those improv places are pretty funny. Wow new beehive president. That's great. I'm sure you will do well there.

Good morning. What colors are you going to paint the house? It does
really need it I think too. Yeah make sure it looks good. I'm sure you
enjoyed going up to trek. I sure enjoyed trek. Sounds like the game
you out on was a success. I'm glad Carson enjoyed it too and it seems
like he had a lot of responsibility in his family.

Wow Derrik already leaving? That was fast. That is a large group going through the temple.
Lots of missionaries going out I guess. I'm glad sister slade is doing
so much better. Wow Tate is already leaving too? That's crazy. They
will both be great missionaries.

Yeah the weather was a little crazy yesterday. The thunderstorms and
strong winds only lasted for about 20 minutes. There was a lot of
rain. There was also a large tree that fell down near our apartment. I
have a picture of it. The weather sure is being weird. I don't think
it will ever make up its mind. It is getting pretty hot though. How is
my companionship doing. Well right now not so good. Elder Smith can
sometimes be very argumentative. And I am not and I try not to argue.
But sometimes I have to cause he can be really dumb sometimes and say
things that are not correct. Right now I'm pretty mad at him. I don't
think I want to spend another transfer with him cause I don't think
he'll change. If I do stay I don't know how that will work. So yeah
that's how it's going right now. Not too happy with him right now. I
was playing ball last week. Well I didn't send one cause I did run out
of time and also because I didn't have wifi. I used to have xfinity
wifi. Which is just like I can have wifi in a lot of places. But
recently I got kicked off for some reason. I'll be sure to send one
this week. Elder Smith does play ball. The lessons are going well. I'm
sorry to say but elder Smith and I do not teach well together. It
stresses me out a lot. He always wants to talk and not pause or listen
to people. And I do, and I teach differently that he does. Anyways the
lessons are going okay. I'll just say that. That's great the Wojcickis
bought a new home. Where did they move? I sure she is very happy to be
in their own home. Their last home was a little crazy. Haha yeah
sister Kirkham told me about that last night. We had dinner with them.
The Kirkhams are a family in our ward.

I'm glad G and G got the letter back. I was getting pretty worried
about it. I still have yet to receive it. Hopefully it will come soon.
I don't know what I'll buy with it with my birthday money. I'll have to see. Most likely
food. I don't need anything right now. I'll let you know when I need
those pants. This week we have been teaching a lot of lessons and
finding new investigators. We set a guy with a baptismal date as well,
which was pretty sweet. Reactivation isn't going to well. There is
this lady who we are teaching who is less active and we have gotten
her a ride five times now and every time she doesn't come. So we've
decided that we are no longer going to waist the Lords time on her.

Carson is getting his license todayw? He can drive the blueberry.
It's not that bad. People will always know that he is somewhere. I'm
sure he will be grateful.

1: It doesn't change, we still have to be in by 9 pm.
2: I'm going to skip this one right now cause I'm mad at him at my companion.
3: I am no longer district leader.
